Watering cans are used to water flowers to prevent them from wilting and dying, or to promote hybridization and the breeding of new flowers. If you're keen to recycle and you need a watering can, it's simple to make your own using a large plastic bottle.

First of all, wash any plastic bottle well and rinse 3 times for its better cleaning.

Now, determine the distance of the holes from the top part of the bottle.

To improve the ability of the nail to pierce the plastic bottle, place the pointed part of it over a candle fire for 20 seconds.

Remove the nail from the heat and immediately push the nail into the desired pattern of the holes.

Make the pattern as small as half of the hole pattern. Cut the shape out using a sharp knife.

Fill it until the water level reaches 1/2 to 1 inch (1.5-2cm) below the bottom holes.

Start watering the plants.
