I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it is virtually impossible to find a decent paying job in NC with a felony. I speak from experience. I went to school for SA Counseling graduated, and found out that I am not eligible to register for five years. So, in order to get employment, you'll have to take what ever menial job floats by such as janitor, garbage man, house keeper, etc. It's ridiculous that people who have made one mistake can not get up on life. We try but the people hold us down. Best of luck to you and know you are not alone in this fight.
