Death from an accident caused by your inablilty to handle a car when impaired. Causing someone else's death resulting in you being charged and sentenced to prison for many years out of your life. Arrest and jail time with a hefty fine for getting caught by the police. Embarrassment to you, your family, and your friends finding out you are an idiot. Higher insurance rates on your vehicle after you pay that fine. And the worst of all, the knowledge that you have killed an innocent person, possibly a child, because you were stupid enough to drink and drive. This you will live with the rest of your life. To me that would be the worst of all. Think about that small child you might hit because your reaction time was so slow you could not get your foot on the brake in time. Bottom line is that only a total fool would drink and drive today.
