∙ 15y agoSocial workers are paid minimally for the job they do. They work long and hard hours to paid a meager amount. Starting off the first year they make about $30000 if not less. After working for more than twenty years in social work you still may make no more than $40000. This does not mean that the job is not worth it because the pay is not great. Social work can be one of the most fulfilling jobs out there.
