Pokemon fire red
I have to Disagree with that the older Pokemon games are way more fun then the new ones so Pokemon fire red would probably be the best game to buy.
that is the most RIDICULOUS thing ive ever heard!! fire red is ancient, dumb, and there elite four suck!! the new games are 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better!!!
I have to agree with the first answer, Pokemon fire red is the best Pokemon game on the gameboy/ds. The newer ones get way to complicated and they are no where as good as the older ones.

im gonna have to agree with the person above me... Pokemon fire red is a very old game, and there Pokemon don't look as best in the brand new games... I know alot of people who brought Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, and sold or threw away there old games... my cousin got all three new versions and a Nintendo DS for his birthday and boy was he happy he got a DS and new games... please do not listen to the person two sentences above me... it is painfully obvious he or she hasn't played the new games with better looking and stronger, cooler Pokemon, especially Arceus, God or Lord creator of all Pokemon including legendary...
the older games are fun if you understand it like fire red once you beat the elite four it gets complicated (to me) and it is same with the new games except i like the new games because there are more Pokemon and gadgets so Pokemon platinum version is my favorite mostly due to i have 14 legendary Pokemon including arceus
