The primary difference is that Buddhism is polytheistic while Christianity is monotheistic.
Buddhism teaches that by good acts, meditation, and developing enlightened wisdom, followers can achieve a rebirth in the heavens. This final goal of enlightenment is known as nirvana.

Christians believe we receive salvation as a gift by God's grace and not of our works.

Taoism is polytheistic, while Christianity is monotheistic.

Taoism sees no contradiction in belonging to more than one religion, while Christianity cannot be followed with any other religion.

Taoism believes in a universal order without a personal God to lead it; morality is regulated by "natural laws" in the form of reward and punishment. "Heaven" is the law-giving institution, but it is not considered personal. There is no afterlife.

Christianity believes in a personal, law-giving God and a strong moral system including reward and punishment.
