I like this question! :) ok. Well, it shows the intelligence of ancient civilizations, such as the Mayans and Egyptians of much earlier centuries. By analyzing how they were generally created, man-power aside, the tools they had back then weren't advanced, so you know they had to be smart. They symbolize the integrity and persitence of said ancient peoples, having devoted years and years to sompleting these enormous structures. They show the similarities of the minds of the people just of those times-- they were being built around the same time in so many different parts of the world without any knowledge of each other. The markings and many materials such as the sarcophaguses left behind in the pyramids provide so much information about life way back then. Also, the stability of the pyramids show the hard work put into developing them. I hope that helps...
