the walking dead on AMC sunday nights 9-8central. Best show on tv right now. The gore isn't too insane, but the story is really great.

There are plenty of zombie movies out there, some of them are pretty legendary. I would suggest watching some early George A. Romero movies as he is considered to be the father of the genre!
