What are some ways to relieve gas for a baby?

Pump the legs, like it's riding a bicycle, burp it really well after it eats, warm baths. Or try Ovol, works great! Way better then gripe water.

If you are nursing, cut back on your dairy intake as well as dark leafy green veggies and any other gas-producing foods. It's hard but it helps a lot! The baby gas drops such as Mylicon work wonders as well.

All my cousin children were born with digestion problems where they would have a bloated stomach with terrible gas so one of my aunts told her every time she goes to change the baby bend the babies leg to a slight lean then push the legs back to the stomach while pushing on the knees the pressure from the legs will push the gas an gets it to moven... It works.....

A nurse who worked with babies all the time gave me this tip when my daughter was a baby. She said to fold the baby. In other words bring the babies feet as close to his or her head as you can. Do not do it hard. Be nice and gentle. You don't want to make the child throw up. I always had good results in getting a lot of gas relieved. I never had any trouble with colic or gas bothering my daughter. Some people are die hard back patters and that nurse told me it actually creates bubbles in the tummy.

I think you might just let it pass. Sit with them and comfort them and tell them it's alright. Or just let it out. You might want to leave the room for that one.
