Actinic keratosis is a small, raised area on one's skin that has usually been exposed to the sun for a fairly long time. Actinic keratosis can lead to a type of skin cancer, usually prevalent in older people.
Symptoms are rough and dry skin, growth on skin in patches located in a variety of places(back,face,scalp,ect.), skin may be gray,pink,or red, flat and scaly.
okay, i have tried this...i have a mole on my forehead that wont go away, i wanted to know this. i want it gone so bad. so i tried it on a mole on my hip ...so the whole world wont see it if i screw up... and it sort of worked... but the mole on my hip was super small. it was a dark brown mole and it turned light brown and bright red for what seemed like forever. its gone, but i have raw looking skin on my hip and have had it look that way for some months now... im too scared to try my face.
