Security officers maintain the safety of private property by patrolling the premises and making sure that rules and regulations are being followed. When they find people breaking rules they may escort them off of the premises. They also may ensure that traffic rules are being followed, check that doors and windows are locked, and other tasks.

∙ 11y agoFirstly, you need to have a good history, without drug use or a criminal record. You need to be in good shape physically, and emotionally. Concentration and good judgement are also necessary. Finally, you need to know how the law works, and be able to write reports effectively.
