The signs and symptoms of stress overload can be almost anything. Stress affects the mind, body, and behavior in many ways, and everyone experiences stress.

Constant procrastination because stress impairs the ability to think and move forward. A feeling of chaotic hopelessness and makes its easy to consider a fixable situation as hopeless. Mindless or binge eating because food can be soothing. Aloofness or coldness manifests as your thoughts are elsewhere and you are not operating in the present. Aggression can also be a sign, since taking it out on others, rather than tackling the real issue may be tempting.
