Scotland has a lot of high and cold places so growing sheep for wool is an important industry. Several Scots have been famous engineers that developed the modern industry with the steam engine and looms.

MOVEMENTS Scotland has access to trains, planes, cars, ships, and has subways in Glasgow. Many Scots immigrated to Ireland and to the United States in the 1700s.

REGIONS
Scotland has some remote areas such as the Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isle of Skye, Isle of Mull and Outer Hebrides. The biggest cities are Glasgow and Edinburgh.
