Krakatoa has many hazards because it is a subduction volcano. Lava flow is of course a hazard for the area surrounding the volcano but hazards for areas further away include volcanic gases which produce acid rain and there can be volcanic debris that has the ability to travel quite far from the source. Other hazards can include ground cracks and tsunamis due to the sheer strength a volcanic eruption can expel.
