Online shopping is a heaven sent. It's supposed to make our life easier by avoiding crowded malls and by going store to store looking for the right item. And as always, we humans always find a way to make our lives or other people's lives a little bit harder than it should be.... PROS: 1. Saves a lot time that we don't have the luxury to waste 2. More value to our money since most of the online shops always beat each other's prices. 3. Saves money since we won't have to spend gas or fare to go to stores. 4. You can make an informed decision by the product reviews and doing research on the product and not just by a sales pitch from a persuasive saleperson. 5. It'll be delivered to your frontstep so you don't have to lug around with shopping bags and whatnots... CONS 1. WE DON'T HAVE THE PERSONAL TOUCH OF SHOPPING WHEN WE ACTUALLY GET TO TALK TO A LIVING PERSON WHO CAN OFFER ASSISTANCE. 2. THERE ARE SOME BOGUS SITES OUT THERE TO SCAM YOU ON YOUR CREDIT CARD. 3. SOMETIMES WE DON'T GET WHAT WE REALLY WANT. ACTUAL PRODUCTS AND THE PICTURES VARY. 4. WE DON'T GET THE INSTANT AFTER SHOPPING FEELING OF ADMIRING OUR JUST PURCHASE ITEMS. 5. SOMETIMES THE PACKAGE GET LOST AND ARRIVE LATER THAN EXPECTED. 6. WE HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING (UNLESS THE ONLINE STORE GIVES IT FOR FREE) 7. IT'S A HASSLE IN RETURNING THE PRODUCT AND FOLLOWING UP ON YOUR REFUND OR EXCHANGE OF ITEMS. 8. IF THERE'S A COMPLAIN YOU GET TO TALK TO A CALL CENTER AGENT AT THE VERY BEST A SUPERVISOR WHO HAS A PROTOCOL TO FOLLOW WHILE IF YOU BUY AT A STORE, USUALLY THE MANAGEMENT HAS THE DISCRETION TO OVERTHROW OR CIRCUMVENT A POLICY IF YOU'RE PERSUASIVE AND NICE ENOUGH. THAT'S ALL THAT I COULD THINK ABOUT NOW. MAYBE THERE'LL BE MORE TOMMOROW. :)
