Depending their age this is what I think:
Advantages:
1) Allows student freedom to make their own money which means they can choose how/when to spend it
2) Gives the student responsibility to juggle their time and plan ahead with regards to: school, work, sports (if there are any), friends, family, church (if they go to church), band (if they play an instrument)
3) If the student is younger, it gives them the opportunity to save for university/college OR if they are in Uni/College already, it gives the student some money to use for bills since we all know college is expensive
4) It allows them to save up for anything they need/want (trip, car, clothes, etc.)
Disadvantages:
1) Student could become too busy with work and neglect other responsibilities
2) The student may be tried from work and may not do their best in school
3) The student may be at work a lot and not have as much time to spend with family and friends.
I personally think having a job as a student is great. As long as they budget their time properly and don't work too many hours it is a great learning opportunity and a way to make an income.
Part time jobs for students provide work experience as well as money to help pay for school or things they need. However, they can take time away from studies and a social life. They can also be hard to schedule around classes or school.

it really interrupts with your study time because one can not concentrate on the task given in school and so will end up leaving school for their part time job

I know 2 advantages : The first advantage is that is lessens the effects of longshore drift on a beach. The second advantage is that is also builds up part of the beaches with the sand becoming deeper.
