Bohol in the south also offers tons of things to see and do, the Chocolate Hills and the smallest monkey in the world can be found here. Heading north to Baguio, Benguet Province, the Hundred Islands, Subic, and Ilocos Province offers more variety. Manila, the capital offers great shopping, restaurants and clubs. Fort Santiago is an old Spanish fort near the historical Luneta Park in downtown Manila. The bottom line is, the Philippines is packed with beautiful tourists spots waiting for all of you to see!! Long Beach, Big wonderful empty beach when I was there. You could help the fisherman with nets catch their fish, and watch them sort. It was crystal clear water and you could wade and watch the bottom fish. It is a wonderful place.
Baggio (misspelled? Correction: Baguio) It is in the mountains were the silver mines are and the silversmith's shops are. You ride what are called "Rabbit" buses up the mountains and just the ride is like the best rollercoaster you've ever seen. Then coming back down, that will scare a few years off of you. But the jewerly and other work is unbelieveable, great craftsmanship. You can buy whatever jewerly you see that you like or special order something for your next trip. Wonderful people in a beautiful land.
