some people find laptop computers a bit awkward to use, using the mouse pad takes getting used to, the keys/monitor may not be in the right position you are used to, and I think upgrading a laptop may be difficult if impossible, you can buy add ons like a mouse and extra hard drives but then the laptop becomes harder to carry around. Modern laptops are quite powerful but i would say cost more than the desktop equivalents. Ask a friend if you can borrow one for a few days just to see what there like before you buy.
Now a days there is not many benefits of buying a desktop computer over a laptop. The one benefit that sticks out is memory. Desktop computer can hold more memory and expand more memory than laptops.
Because they're smaller, more compact and portable.
It gives you more options to customise, so depending on what you want, you can buy a really expensive and fast desktop computer, but you can also get a cheaper, but less quick computer.
The computer just keeps typing 77777777777 infinitely when I am trying to type on my desktop. I am using my laptop to try to find an answer. The 7 key doesn't seem to be stuck down. When I reboot my computer, it will work for a while without doing it, but then it starts again. Help!!!!
remote desktop connection is use to any access the system or user of u r local or wide network. = Using Windows Remote Desktop Connection = It allows you to connect to another computer remotely either over a network or over the internet. When you are connected to the remote computer you are actually controlling it and seeing the remote computer's desktop etc.
Left click the desktop then hit Alt+F4.
This would depend on the type and model of computer. Generally, on a desktop computer, the power button will be on the front of the tower. Sometimes it can be on the side of the tower if not on the front. If it is an all-in-one computer, such as the imac, it may be on the monitor itself (possibly back or front). If you are using a laptop, it can often be found at the top right just above the keyboard. some older laptops have the button on either the side or front of the laptop.
If you do have a wireless router on, you don't need any other computer to be on, say if you have a laptop downstairs, and a computer with the router upstairs, the computer can be off, but the router has to stay on, and you can access the internet using the laptop from downstairs, if you have a good enough signal. Hope this helps!
Be smarter than the microphone. You click on the microphone button at the top left corner and it should be on. But it depends if you are using a laptop or desktop computer. If you are using a desktop computer there is no microphone. But if using a laptop, click on the microphone button on the top left corner. Then the microphone should turn on.
The benefits for one using the Double Desktop program are that it allows one to have more than one desktop available on a computer. One can find additional information about this software as well as a download option on the Softpedia website.
"PC" or "Mac" refers to the architecture of the computer, not the form factor. A computer made by Toshiba, Acer, Hewlett-Packard, ASUS, or Dell is a "PC", regardless of whether it is a desktop or laptop. A computer made by Apple is a "Mac", regardless of whether or not it is a laptop or a desktop.
Logging out of a computer has many benefits. It prevents others from using a laptop they should not be using, and prevents others from accessing information that is private.
"Keyboard" refers to the rectangular object with buttons with letters written on them you use to interface with the computer."Desktop" may be used to refer to a computer that is not a laptop, and that does not have a built in screen, or it may refer to the desktop environment you are currently using on you computer to manage windows, change desktops, etc.
No, a person who cannot use a desktop/laptop cannot install asset management software. It would require that the person be capable of using a desktop/laptop in order to install any type of software.
You log onto Kik using a laptop exactly the same way you would log onto Kik with a desktop, netbook, tablet, or any other computer.
You do not have to use wireless for all of them. You can connect your desktops using cables. And use your laptop with built-in wireless adapter.
Scan your computer for viruses and spyware. If you are sure your computer is not infected, it may be overheating. If you're using a desktop, open up the tower and make sure the fans are clean and functioning properly. Fans are not expensive and relatively easy to install. If you're using a laptop, you can purchase a laptop fan for around $15.
Yes, there are some "no name" laptop brands that use desktop CPU-s onto their laptop motherboards. I have a laptop of "Vobis" manufacturer and I'm using Pentium 4 , 2.4 GHz, 533 MHz FSB desktop CPU in that machine.
Depends actually on the size of the Computer. If it's a desktop then yes. If you're using a laptop then it only has a little. Phones are small and can not hold the Intel Core stuff that we have today.
Yes there are. It allows you to access other devices like a monitor, home internet connection, or desktop computer peripherals.
