There is no single factor that may cause a grievance. Many factors may combine together to generate a grievance. Employee grievances could be due to the following reasons:

i. Grievances related to inadequate wages, incentives, increments and unfair compensation offered to other employees.

ii. Complaints against a particular employee or supervisor or subordinate.

iii. Complaints concerning disciplinary measures and procedures.

iv. Grievances related to unfair promotions, transfers or change of locations.
