Biomes are a complex biotic community separated by distinctive animal and plant species and kept under the climatic conditions of the region.
Freshwater Biomes are ponds, lakes, streams, rivers, and wetlands.
Terrestrial Biomes are tropical rainforest's, grasslands, tropical savanna, desert, chaparral, temperate deciduous forest, arctic, and alpine tundra.
Marine Biomes are oceans, coral reefs, and estuaries.
the worlds major biomes include tropical rainforest, tropical dry forest, tropical savanna, desert, temperate forest, northwestern coniferous forest, boreal forest, and tundra. each of these biomes is defined by a unique set of abiotic factors particularly climate and characteristic assemblage of plants and animals
1. Tropical Rain Forest-
2. Tropical Dry Forest-
3. Tropical Savanna-
4. Desert-
5. Temperate Grassland-
6. Temperate Woodland and Shrubland-
7. Temperate Forest-
8. Northwestern Coniferous Forest-
9. Boreal Forest-
10. Tundra-
Climate, precipitation, soil quality, and average temperature are the major distinguishing characteristics that set biomes apart. Note that polar ice caps and mountains are not biomes, as in the polar ice caps, the sea is the only source of food, and in the mountains, the organisms living there differ with altitude.
Tropical rain forests are very wet and has infernal soilfrom years of rain that has washed away all of the nutrients from the soil.
the characterize of a biome is a large geographical area characterize by certain types of plants and animals
Each biome has organisms that are adapted to the conditions on the biome, such as climate.

no vegetation is the plants in an region or area. A biome is similar to a climate but they are split into smaller biomes. Biomes vary by the "vegetation" temperature, and climate. Its like a more specific list of climate. A steppe biome or climate or polar biome.

The 2 biomes that are not in Canada are the tropical forest and the desert. The other 4 are definitley in Canada. *Edit* Actually Canada has a very little desert biome in southern B.C. so I think it could be tropical rain forest and chaparral. It depends which list of biomes you are choosing from.
