Almost all religions in one way or another say that humans have a soul or spirit, which either goes to heaven (or hell) after death or is reborn into another human. Even when recognising that hemans existed long before Adam and Eve, and that humans evolved from earlier pre-modern species, the Catholic Church insists that Adam and Eve must be seen as different because they were the first humans to have souls.
The existence or otherwise of souls is unprovable and is therefore outside the sphere of science. Science shows that humans are animals, but of special capabilities. We evolved from earlier species, and our distant ancestors were also ancestors of modern chimpanzees.
Our evolution gave us the ability to walk upright, freeing our hands to carry things and allowing us to both see and run great distances. We have fully opposable thumbs that allow us to perform intricate tasks that are beyond the ability of our nearest living relatives, the chimpanzees.
Like all mammals, babies are born with the larynx high in their throat, enabling them to suckle and breath at the same time. However, as babies grow older, the larynx migrates downwards in the throat to create a chamber known as the pharynx, which allows us to make the complex sounds necessary for human speech. The compromise is that we can no longer drink and breath at the same time.
We do not have the largest brains, but we do have the largest brains in proportion to our size. This allows us to perform mental tasks that other species could never master.
Our ability to walk upright, our pharynx, our opposable thumbs and our relatively large brains are essentially what make us different from all other species on earth. Whether or not we have souls is a matter of religious faith.
Like us, some animals can make tools. The only difference is that our tools are a lot more complex. Like us, some animals have a language. The only difference is that their language contain less than ten words. The human specie is the only specie that can philosophize. The human specie is the only specie that practice and understand art. We are the only ones that can write. The human being is the most intelligent animal on earth and it is the animal that has the most influence on the world in the world.
Humans come under animals, so you cant differentiate, but narrowing the category like difference between mammals and other animals, we can get good differences. Humans have the 6th sense, but animals do not have the 6th sense. They only have 5 senses. Humans can analyse themselves, but animals cannot.

Note: humans are not just a group of their own, they're animals too.
Humans are rational
Plants are autotroph and humans and animals are heterotroph.
Humans cannot see in dark night but nocturnal animals can see.
the difference is that there are different parts in humans than there is in animals
Intelligence...but from the state of the planet you would never know it!!
There are of course several differences between animals and humans. However one key difference is that while a human baby has the potential to one day be smarter than Albert Einstein, the animal does not.
At birth, the differences between humans are genetic. Cultural and experiential differences come later.
People don't migrate. Animals migrate. So, there are no patterns between humans and animals.
noting i do not know
differences between flower reproductive to the animals
snakes dont poison people when they bite them but humans do
Humans are animals. Gene differences distinguish us from other specie of animal, and there are many which contribute to our high sognitive processing skills.
It refers to the differences between all humans.
