Subjects range from Radio Communication to sign-language. Subjects are not all first-aid related as pottery and cookery count as subjects. Addition subjects would be nutrition, sports, manual-handling, drugs education, religion and first-aid etc. ALL cadets must learn the history, structure and roles within St. John Ambulance. Each subject counts towards a Grand Prior award, so that is 24 subjects in total. After completion of Grand Prior, you can undertake the Amalfi Challenge which is a more independent but much harder challenge.
