Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place the ham in a roasting pan covered with about 1/4 to 1/2 inch of water in the bottom.
Cook for 12 to 15 minutes per pound.
Follow the glazing instructions on the back of the ham label.
Uncover and glaze 10 to 15 minutes before it finishes cooking.
Cook uncovered once you glaze it.
Remember to let it rest for 10 minutes or so before carving it up and serving or the juices will run out as you carve and the meat will dry very quickly.
*usually... you place the glaze mix in a small pan with a couple teaspoons of water and heat it on high to a boil, then take it off and drizzle it on the meat. Glaze is strictly optional but it's tasty if you're having the ham as a meal.
I would put it in a low temputure oven covered with foil for about 25-30 minuets.
Usual you cook a ham 20 minutes per pound at 325
I just served a Carando spiral cut hickory smoked ham that I purchased at Costco. I think it is one of the better hams I have served. I followed the package directions and used the enclosed glaze. I would definitely buy another.
how to thaw a 1lbs spiral ham
You should cook a spiral sliced ham for 20 minutes per pound at 325 degrees F. A great recipe: Place ham in roasting pan. Cover with pineapple juice. Cover with tin foil and refrigerate overnight. To cook, pour off pineapple juice and mix in 1/2 cup honey and a few tablespoons of brown sugar. Mix well and pour over ham. Cover with tin foil and bake at 150 - 200 degrees F for 6 to 8 hours. Your ham will be tender, juicy and delicious.
Empty the contents into a small saucepan, add one tablespoon of warm water, then heat and stir till the sugar melts. I used a brush to get it in the ham. -- bretw1t
do not cook it is precooked. heat at 350 for 20 min/lb
It is normal for a spiral ham to turn a pinkish gray color when it is cooked. Fresh hams turn a whitish gray color when they are cooked.
With a spiral slicer. The ham is put on a skewer and rotated slowly past a stationary blade parallel to its leading surface.

Check your label! -I've NEVER heard of an UN-cooked spiral-cut ham... On that label will be a company contact number...
your spiral ham probably says do not freeze because there might be a glaze that has come with it. also, hams, like most meats, are succeptible to freezer burn. if buying a ham, it is best to teat right away.
