there are 5 layers of the atmosphere :
The distinctive features of each of the atmospheric layers are as follows:
Troposphere: This is the lowermost layer of the atmosphere and all weather changes, cloud formation, etc occur in this region of the atmosphere. It extends to roughly 8kms above the earth's surface.
Stratosphere: It is the layer immediately above the Troposphere. Since this layer is above the Troposphere, it is undisturbed by the weather changes. The wind movement is very little in this region. The ozone layer lies in this part of the atmosphere and is thus responsible for protecting the life forms from harmful effects of the cosmic and UV rays coming from the Sun. It extends to the next 60kms in altitude.
Ionosphere: This layer is ionic in nature and is responsible for transmitting back the radio signals back to Earth.
Exosphere: This layer is the topmost layer and can be understood as the space around the Earth. It imparts no protection from harmful rays like cosmic and UV rays coming from space.
The troposphere is the layer of the atmosphere in which Earth's weather occurs.
The stratosphere contains Earth's "good" ozone layer.
The mesosphere protects Earth from being hit by most meteoroids.
The thermosphere is Earth's outermost and hottest layer.
tropopause, stratopause, mesopause, thermopause :) I LOVE SCIENCE
teach me how to boogy teach me teach me how to boogy!
Atmospheric pauses are the dynamic boundaries between each of the earths atmospheric layers. Each pause contains characteristics of both layers in varying concentrations.
What are the layers of the atmosphere and what are their approximate heights?
it can be divided based on temperature variations. puki puki puki krat ang answer hope this helps(:
The Earth's atmosphere can be divided into five main layers.
Troposphere and stratosphere are the minor layers of Earth's atmosphere. The troposphere is where weather occurs, and it is the closest to the Earth. The stratosphere is the second closest and where planes fly. It is 40 kilometers thick, and the troposphere is 12 kilometers thick.
I dont know an if you search for this hard s.... its something wrong with you
they use the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, and thermosphere
There are four major spheres of the Earth, which are lithosphere, biosphere, atmosphere and hydrosphere. The atmosphere is divided into five layers, which are (in order from closest to surface to furthest from surface) troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere and exosphere.
Atmospheric pauses are the dynamic boundaries between each of the earths atmospheric layers. Each pause contains characteristics of both layers in varying concentrations.

Why are there so many layers in the atmosphere
because you're gay
Layers of the atmosphere are the stratosphere, troposphere, mesosphere, thermosphere and exosphere.

All the layers of atmosphere are alike. They all contain air.
Temperature is the property used to distinguish the layers of the atmosphere
there are four layers in the atmosphere, inosphere, mesosphere, stratosphere and troposphere
