Those who have been bullied will tend to develop Anthropophobia, which is the fear of people or social settings. Victims tend to become aggressive around people who act in a way that sparks fear of being hit or taunted leading to legal trouble or psychological trouble if not treated by therapy and sometimes medication.
The most common diagnosis for those who are bullied is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD. However, there is a second diagnosis which is becoming more prevalent in cases today which is Depression. Depression is a feeling of self worthlessness that lasts for long periods of time. Other symptoms of depression that may happen: people may seclude themselves from friends, family, and social events, they may refuse to eat, or over eat, excessive sleeping, or inability to get adequate sleep, they may make threats or attempts to commit suicide.
If you or anyone you know If being bullied, you have the power to stop it. Seek your parents, a counselor, or school officials. If School Officials fail to put a stop to it (as a lot have no see - didn't happen policies), involve your local Police Department.
it can be mental or physical and can also be longterm. bullying can cause a person to have low self esteem and even push themselves to commit suicide. However, being a victim of bullying could also make some one become stronger.

The effect is that they get a laugh from audience. They think that making someone else feel bad just to have a laugh for less then about 2 minutes. It's pathetic ! Also they might do it to take there anger out on someone who either won't fight back and or, who's weaker then the bully. Sometimes when people get angry they don't know exactly what there doing. So maybe a bully's having a bad day, but that still doesn't mean to take it out on someone weaker or someone who will never fight back.

In my opinion it is indifferent parents that don't care if their kid is bullying others (and in many cases blame the victims of the bullying for bringing it on themselves).
It depends how bad the bullying is but sometimes they just cry and sometimes if its really bad they might selfharm. Bullying is wrong and should not happen in the first place.

I think that being a nurse, it is you responsibility to report any possible patients that you think can be victims of bullying. Ones that have physical and emotional symptoms of bullying or abuse.
If worst comes to worst, the victims might not be able to handle it anymore and end up killing themselves.
