Gwyddno Garanhir (Gwyddno Longshanks is mentioned in one of the most famous of old Welsh tales, the tale of Taliesin the Twice born. There he is the father of Elphin who discovers the baby Taliesin in a weir and gives him his name. Gwyddno was holder of one of the thirteen treasures "Y tair thlws ar ddeg ynys Prydain" his was called; Mwys Gwyddno Garanhir, the hamper of Gwyddno Longshanks, Food for one would be put in it and when opened food for a hundred would be found inside.
she has red hair except in the last book, her hair turns brown. I imagine she has light skin, and perhaps green eyes.
