The Five Precepts (Pali: Pañcasīla, Sanskrit: Pañcaśīla Ch: 五戒,Cantonese: Ng Gye, Mandarin: wǔ jiè, Japanese: go kai, Sinhala: පන්සිල්, Thai: ศีลห้า) constitute the basic Buddhist code of ethics, undertaken by lay followers of the Buddha Gautama in the Theravada and Mahayana traditions. The Five Precepts are commitments to abstain from killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying and intoxication. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Five_Precepts
ALL of Buddhism has the 5 Precepts.
Do not murder (one can kill animals for consumption not thrill)
Do not take anything not freely given (more than just theft)
Do engage in improper sex
Do not gossip or lie (better NOT to say anything than repeat harmful rumors)
Do not use substances that make you lose control of your mind (hallucinogens, alcohol, pot, etc.)
Five Pillars is only recognized by certain Buddhist communities. The Three Pillars of Dhamma, also known as Grounds of Merit includes: Generosity, Moral restraint, and Meditation Ã? concentration and mindfulness.
I don't know if there are Five basic beliefs, but what Buddhists believe in is this:
The Three Marks of Existence, which are:
(1) Life is full of dissatisfaction (Dukkha in Pali)
(2) Nothing lasts (impermanence (Anicca in Pali) )
(3) That all composite phenomena are without substance (Anatta in Pali) )
The Four Noble Truth, which are:
(1) Life is full of suffering.
(2) Suffering exists because of our desires and aversions.
(3) There is a state of mind in which suffering ends (enlightenment).
(4) There is a path to attain this state; That path is called the Eight Fold Path.
The Noble Eightfold Path, which is:
(1) Right View.
(2) Right Intention.
(3) Right Speech.
(4) Right Action.
(5) Right Livelihood.
(6) Right Effort.
(7) Right Mindfulness.
(8) Right Concentration.
The Five Precepts, which are:
(1) not to take the life of anything living,
(2) not to take anything not freely given,
(3) to abstain from sexual misconduct and sensual overindulgence,
(4) to refrain from untrue speech, and
(5) to avoid intoxication, that is, losing mindfulness.
The Five vows of Buddha are :-
They are:
Do not kill.
Do not steal.
Do not engage in sexual misconduct.
Do not lie.
Do not use intoxicants
I refrain from killing. I refrain from killing. I refrain from sexual misconduct. I refrain from lying. I refrain from alcohols.

The 5 moral precepts are guidelines to how a believer of Buddhism should lead their life. They are: avoid stealing, avoid alcohol and drugs, avoid sex before marriage, avoid lying and avoid killing. I've just done Buddhism in school so I hope this helps!

Buddhism promotes ethical conduct through the Five Precepts, which include abstaining from killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, false speech, and intoxicants. These guidelines aim to cultivate moral behavior, compassion, and mindfulness in one's actions. Practicing these precepts is believed to lead to a more peaceful and ethical way of living.
The major belief (or teachings) of Buddhism is the Four Noble Truths. The major practice of Buddhism is the Five Noble Precepts.
