i am studying Papua New Guinea for a class of mine and i have to write a 4-5 page paper on a connection about papua new guinea. i have chosen the connection between the economy and life expectancy. from what i can tell it basically sucks. living in the city there are no jobs and resources and shelter are strained and its capital, Port Moresby is well know for violent crime. living in rural areas the government is no help at all, their programs not being able to reach most of the communities. people live off of what they can grow. there is not a lot of education in rural areas either. transportation with all the mountains is basically walking. but yea so i hope some of this helps :)
They are two different countries. Australia largly takes after England and American and is mainly populated by 'whites' (for the lack of a better word) where as Papua New Guinea follows nations like Singapore and Malaysia and is mostly populated by 'asians' (again for the lack of a better word). Australia is more modern and technologically advanced than most parts of Papua New Guinea. Papua New Guinea once belonged to Australia but declared independence in 1975. For more information mearly search both Australia and Papua New Guinea on wikipedia and compare for yourself.
