One of the objectives and functions of special education is to help developmentally disabled children function better in the classroom. Functioning better in a classroom environment will help them function better with life skills later in life.

to enable special children have equal access to equal education as the regular children as well leading to equity, which is the distribution of resources acccording to their needs. this is so because special children need a lot of equipment in order for the education system to be meaningful,
among these equipmenets are; hearing aids for the mild hearing impaired, talking calculators for the severe visually impaired and also buying of wheel chairs for the physically challlenged.
The infrustructure should also be modified in order for it to be user friendly such the removal of stairs in preference of gentle slopes. this however this entails that all stack holders involved in the provision of special education should put more resources in they are to achieve meaning full provision of special education. warren kabz kabemba. and kamz jay jay
