It is not definite that the objects that you saw is satellites, but there is a high percentage that they are. There are TV satellites and others as well. Not every single one of them are from one country though. I saw a ton of them last night and I was overjoyed to see such wonder. I thought they were planets or maybe comets but comets are much faster than the ones you saw and planets don't really move that fast ether. So the chance of them being satellites have increased even more! Hope I've answered your question. Check out other websites to confirm.
Yes the stars do appear to move across the sky. This is due to the rotation of the Earth on its axis.
Regulus stars appear to move across the sky from East to West (:
Stars appear to move across the sky each night because the earth is moving, but not the stars. Also some stars are only visible during certain seasons because as the earth rotates, they become visible.
Because Earth is moving so we are the ones moving.
There is no frontwards or backwards, it's just a frame of reference. That's the way Earth orbits and rotates.
planets appear to move

cos some are shooting stars and comets! and stars move around
The patterns appear the same because the stars are so far away that their movement is not apparent to our eyes. They move across the sky because the earth is rotating and that makes it look like the stars are moving. Just like the sun does not move across the sky, the earth rotates and the sun appears to move, the same is with the stars.
They appear to move across the sky because of the position of the viewer on a rotating planet with a moving field of view.

stars don't move across the sky, we orbit the sun, as you should know, and as we orbit the sun we see the stars as moving but in all actuality we are just changing position and seeing the stars at a different perspective
YES!!! Because '- #1 the Earth is rotating so it appears that the stars move across the sky. #2 the Stars in their own right also move. Since most stars are so far away their movement is hard to detect. #3 the Planets, appear to be stars, because they are pin point spots of light. The planets move , notably Venus, which can be seen as the Morning Star, or at a different time of the year as the Evening Star. The word 'planet' comes from Classical Greece, and means 'Wandering Star'.
stars dont move, but as we move they appear to.
Because Earth is moving so we are the ones moving.
because earth rotates on its axis
Why do searts appear to move westward across the sky?
Stars do not move, but the moon orbits. Stars appear to move because we are moving.
