What are the reasons teenagers shouldn't get pregnant?

A young person needs time to finish growing and maturing herself (and enjoying her own childhood and youth, and completing her education) before she takes on the heavy--and very expensive--adult responsibility of caring for another human being.

Teenagers shouldn't get pregnant because they don't know how to take care of their child. When a teenage girl gets pregnant the father of the child leaves and he is to young to be paying child support so basically its a waste of time.Also some teenage girls would think that they are ready for say because her and the boyfriend agreed and has been together for a year or two. well if you do decide to get pregnant your parents may disown you because they feel like you have failed them. You have to think about what everyone else will think of you when they see your face on a big belly while being a teen. It'll make them uncomfortable to be around you and it will make you feel that way to. So please be patient, besides if your boy friend truly loves you he would agree to wait.

well many reasons for not getting pregnante as a teen...

• you are just a baby yourself
• you still have your whole life ahead of you
• rasing a baby as a teen can be stressfull

just think about it how many girls are getting pregnant nowadays... ALOT!!!!

and for what to raise a baby on your own cause majority of guys these days are leaving girl to raise the baby on their own and a baby needs to grow up with a mom and dad... not two moms...

They should do what they can to avoid pregnancy because mentally, their brains are not fully developed, and because of that, their ability to take care of themselves is hard enough, let alone a completely helpless baby.
Also, teens tend not to have the maturity it takes to raise a healthy, happy child.
But more than that even, they do not have educational background or work experience to make enough money to keep up with the costs of a baby.
There are also complications as usually teen fathers do not stick around.
And if the teen is a young teen, her body would not be ready to have a baby and that would probably lead to disabilities in the child.

Teenagers should not get pregnant because they are not physically & phychologically mature enough to bear children and because they are not sociologically & economically prepared to care for the child. To care for a child takes money. To earn money you need a job. To get a minimum wage job you at least need a high school diploma. To earn more than minimum wage you need at least a college degree.
