you need to study mathematics,astronamy,engineering,geology,chemistry,biology,physics and electronics. you dont have to be a champion athelete,but fitness is very important too.

∙ 11y agoA college education in a field of science or medical degree. Some are test pilots as well, and many are military officers.
These are minimum requirements just to have your application looked at. The selection process for astronauts is extremely demanding. Thousands applied but only a few dozen got very far. and of those chosen to enter the program, only a few actually made it into space.
