The main symptom of blue rubber bleb nevus syndrome (BRBNS) are the blue skin lesions or blebs that appear on the skin. These tumors larger than 5mm around, are not cancerous. They are accompanied by pale skin and fatigue. BRBNS can cause bleeding in the GI tract, and in those cases, bloody stools can also be a symptom.

No there is not a cure. In fact, many doctors are unfamiliar with this disease. I was born with it, the only in my family; and was told they would stop growing when I did but now I'm 31 and they still are! At least there is now information on the internet about it as well as studies being done. Hope this helps! Amber
It would not likely cause Fibromyalgia, but there is no known cause for Fibromyalgia. However, Fibromyalgia often co-occurs with other medical issues. It is often brought on by a physical or mental stress. So, it is possible that BLEB could have triggered Fibromyalgia.
From Wikipedia: "the condition follows autosomal dominant inheritance. Dominant genetic disorders occur when only a single copy of an abnormal gene is necessary for the appearance of the disease. The abnormal gene can be inherited from either parent, or can be the result of a new mutation (gene change) in the affected individual. The risk of passing the abnormal gene from affected parent to offspring is 50% for each pregnancy regardless of the sex of the resulting child."
It is a rare disorder that consists mainly of abnormal blood vessels affecting the gastrointestinal tract.
