I'm not really sure but I believe they are some type of mite. I have found them in my food storage container. I think the young mite is a whitish looking wiggly worm but I think they grow into a larger (rounder black) black looking bug. The white-ish looking pupae (the young mite - from my searches looks like a meal worm) by thickness is smaller than a grain of rice and the length is like two grains of rice stood end to end. I took a picture of the ones I found. You can see them <a href="http://i22.Photobucket.com/albums/b312/Hackeyfor1/bugsindogfood.jpg<here></a>
OMG throw away that dog food! It's dangerous for Puppy!Bubbles!C(:
Don't leave your dog food in the bag it came in.. protect your dog food from moisture, bugs, and other critters, and rodents. Put your dog food in a air tight resealable bin, like a 30 lb. rubber made garbage bin. where I live we have bears, raccoons and other wild animals, and keeping the dog food in this bin protects the food for the dog, and you.
Can dog food servings are littler than dry dog food. Can dog food is condensed more and has less in a can
Meat flavored dog food...
About 2.4 cups

The dog is eating too much human food. TRy giving him dry dog food like normal but put some wet food in it for a variety.
