Confucianism, Daoism, and Legalism are all parts of Buddhism. These are practiced in conjunction with each-other in China and across Asia. Confucius invented the philosophy and brought his ideas to others, who liked it, as it is a mix of calm "one with nature" Daoism, and strict, communist-like "legalism" with demands and yelling. It is where the idea "respect your elders" comes from. So you could say the ideas of the religion are practiced everywhere, without one even knowing it.
