Sudden burst of growth, and no that does not mean you are fat, girls go thru growing stages much sooner than boys when finished you will grow into everything so don't mind some of the temporary phases you may go thru.
Woman and men a like have stretch marks because there body changes and grows and breasts and buttocks all grow bigger and the skin is like elastic, but it only stretches so far so when it stretches the marks are left behind
Stretch marks are hard to get rid of, but I was told that cocoa butter does help reduce them from being visible, but they're not going to go away. Liposuction is NOT the answer, and has nothing to do with getting rid of stretch marks.
Hold your head up high, make sure your toes are pointed, keep your smile running, stretch your arms, swing those hips and move your body!,but mostly try your best, and as a dancer this is quite accurate.
It depends, if your're a woman the most common is probably stretchmarks during pregancy, this can be on the stomach and breasts. Teenagers who grow fast can also have them on their buttocks and thighs. If you're a guy, you can get them just over your hips (If you've gotten larger) and some men also get them on their arms, when they get more muscles. but I think the most common places are: for girls: breasts, thighs/buttocks and belly/hips for guys: belly/hips and arms
A stretch mark is a type of scar that develops when our skin stretches or shrinks quickly. Stretch marks are tears in the integumentary layer that contains fibrous connective tissue, elastin and collagen. The abrupt change causes the collagen and elastin, which supports our skin to rupture. These grooves or lines in your skin aren’t harmful to your health, but they aren’t great to look at. As the skin heals stretch marks may appear. And even though they’ll never really go away, they might fade over time with the help of certain products and procedures. Stretch marks appear in Arms, Breasts, thighs, hips, buttocks, shoulders and stomach. CAUSES AND SYMPTOMS OF STRETCH MARKS New stretch marks may feel slightly raised and itchy. These rippled, streaky lines in your skin come in different colors. They fade from red or pink to purplish-blue to thinner, pale, more scar-like streaks over time. You may not notice them as much. Not everyone develops these narrow bands on their skin. Fluctuating hormone levels seems to be one of the causes. If people in your family get stretch marks then you are at a higher risk of getting it. Stretch marks happen when your body grows quickly for any reason. Your skin can’t stretch enough to keep up. Collagen is a protein that makes your skin more elastic. If your skin doesn’t have enough, the marks may show up as it stretches. Quick weight gain(this affects both men and women) Childhood growth spurts during puberty. Make sure kids know this is normal and that childhood marks may fade as they get older. Pregnancy as a result of stretched skin and a surge in hormones that weakens skin fibers. They might fade as you shed pounds after the baby is born. Bodybuilding Breast implant surgery Intake of higher amounts of steriods from steroid medication or illness like cushing syndromes. Marfan syndrome, a genetic disease that weakens your skin fibers and causes unusual growth Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), a group of conditions that result from genetic changes to collagen, a protein in your body.
Marfan patients often develop striae over the shoulders, hips, and lower back at an early age because of rapid bone growth. Although the patient may be self-conscious about the striae, they are not a danger to health.
