So far there are 6 books in the Vampire Academy Series. The first of course is Vampire Academy, the second is Frostbite, the third is Shadow-Kissed, the fourth is Blood Promise, the fifth is Spirit Bound, and the sixth is Last Sacrifice. The sixth book is the last in the series but there are rumors of a spin-off. Hope this helps you.

∙ 13y agoThere are four books in the Vampire Diaries Series; The Awakening, The Struggle, The Fury and Dark Reunion. There is also a spin-off series focusing on one of the main characters from the first series; Damon Salvatore. This series is called The Vampire Diaries: The Return and consists of three books; Nightfall, Shadow Souls and Midnight, the latter being due for release on March 15th 2011. L.J.Smith is also writing another spin-off trilogy centering around Elena Gilbert and her friends entitled The Hunters. The three books in this trilogy will be called; Phantom, Moonsong and Eternity. There will then be one more trilogy which is yet to be titled and has no confirmed plot details as yet. This will bring the total number of Vampire Diaries books to 13.

I have not yet finished the book yet, but it is very good (: The Twilight series, in my opinion are still better but these books are a close second! ( Edited Answer from Confused1996 ) i have read all the books that have come out and In my opinion the Vampire Diaries is way better than the Twilight Saga. The first 4 books are really good because you learn all about the characters and Elena and Stefan's relationship grows. but books 4 and 5 ( book six is not out in the UK yet) are amazing because Stefan vanishes and the relationship between Elena and Stefan's brother Damon grows and reaches a new level. so because one girl fall for 2 brothers and the brothers fall for her. that is why i think the Vampire Diaries is much better than Twilight any day. Overall, all of the Vampire Diaries books are really good but to understand them you need to have read all of the books.
