Hmmm...I would say all the normal things but think about karma. Karma is when you do something bad and it comes back to you. Like if you backstab someone it will turn against you and they will turn against you in the most horrible way ever. So doing something bad could give you bad luck. Also in terms of good luck, dharma is when you do good things and you are rewarded with good things. Good Luck?

If you are just talking about plain old bad luck, like the bird pooping on you or the losing money or whatever, then I dont know what is bringing it on you!Just think of it like bad luck is a lesson pr punishment, hopefully a lesson (an annoying one) in your case!

Answer:

There is no such thing as "luck" good or bad. There are probabilities, unforeseen eventualities. logical outcomes and statistical anomalies - but no luck. All events can be turned to an advantage even if it is just a lesson in what not to do next time.
