Well, I shoot mostly on Leica M9 and M8, also Leica M2 and M7 when shooting film. I did use Canon 5D's until 2 years ago. I am also using regularly Hasselblads, a 500cm and a SWC; also but more rarely, Mamiya 7.
Anyway, the camera is just an extention of my brain, so the less intrusive it is in hte process, the better it is for me, this is why I love working with Leicas.

Yes, you send the Cannon point and shoot camera in to the company who has a warranty on their cameras, and if you are outside of warranty they will charge you a flat fee to fix your camera lenses.
