What can Golden Retriever do?

Swim and play in water, amongst other things. They were bred as hunting dogs, that would "retrieve," or bring back the bird that a hunter shot.

My golden retriever likes to do everything, including chewing on rags, chasing her tail, swimming, chasing balls, jumping and agility as well as sitting on top on me. ^yes. my Golden Retriver enjoys running, swimming, Agility, Hunting, and everything else in the world!

Golden Retrievers can retrieve things that you throw.They also love to swim, and be around people, they love exercise..especially if it involves you throwing anything. They can be taught to sit pretty, give you their paw, open doors, fetch...they are very smart dogs, as long as you work with them. Some love to jump, we had one that we taped a toy to a 8 foot ceiling, and she would jump till she got it! They love lasers...they will chase the light like a cat. Goldens can do just about anything you teach them to do! :)

in the past golden retrievers were bred to retrieve shot foul without damaging it. hence their gentle bite.
