There is a butterfly valve for the idle air intake. Buy a can of cleaner for this valve from the local auto store, give it a spray, and the motor will probably keep running.
You have to jack the motor up
There are 6 plugs total three are at the front of the motor and are easy to get to the other 3 are at the back of the motor un the manifold.
