It depends on your religion. I think most religions believe in doing good works and having faith in God to get you to heaven.
The Holy Bible reads "for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) and "for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Rom. 6:23). The Bible also reads, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21). And you're a "whosoever" right? Of course you are; all of us are.
Answer:
If there is heaven and God decides who should be allowed into heaven then the criteria for entering into heaven should be one of love and gratitude. As human parents we desire the same relationship of love and gratitude with our children. We wants obedience from love and gratitude not from fears of punishment or self righteous demands. We don't want our children to demand their rights "i have been good and i deserve..." But rather we wants our children to be thankful for whatever they have been given. We want their obedience to come from love and gratitude rather than from fear of punishment. Love is greatest when it comes from freewill and not from fear of punishment or self righteous. In fact it is questionable that a self righteous person has the capacity to love at all. God wants the same relationship of love and gratitude with everyone who enters heaven. Jonab
The rules for entering your heaven depends on the religious tradition that you follow. Christians have various positions on this even between their various sects. Jews and Muslims have other criteria on who is in or out. Other religions which have a heaven (not all do) have their own way of entering it. The Vikings required death in battle to achieve the "good" heaven filled with beer and battles to escape the "bad" heaven of moping around forever. The Greek afterlife was mostly a grey dullness until you evaporated.
In his book "Captain Stormfield's Visit to Heaven" Mark Twain proposed that everyone gets into the heaven they aim for but is excluded from the heavens they don't want to deal with. This means no Christian wings, halos and harps for the Vikings, no Arabic couches, dates and girls for the Christians etc.
In general the rules would be:
now their up in heaven now their up in heaven heaven heaven heaven heaven holy gail buy anothe round
now their up in heaven now their up in heaven heaven heaven heaven heaven holy gail buy anothe round
no you are ageless in heaven! you r perfect in heaven
"Heaven's gate" is not in the Bible.
I am a Christian. In my belief Heaven is a beautiful place where there is peace and happiness and God is in Heaven. I doubt that the people who go to heaven will be unsatisfied.
