There are many different causes of infertility and sterility. Some of the most common causes include hormonal imbalances, endometriosis and lack of ovulation in females and low sperm counts in men. Some STDs can also lead to infertility such as Chlamydia. Hope this helps.

One of the main causes of infertility is sexually transmitted diseases such as Chlamydia which can make you infertile by blocking the Fallopian Tubes. Another cause is Varicocele, then Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, which is when the egg production process is disrupted. Another cause is abnormal sperm count and shape, and also Endometriosis.

An unhealthy life style. Based on many studies I've read, GMO foods have caused infertility as well as many other health problems such as gigantic tumors for every animal they've tested them on that didn't die of stomach bleeding. They say it's totally safe for humans though.
