Paranoia is exaggerated worrying. People who are paranoid feel threatened by others and their environment. They worry they will be harmed physically, mentally, even financially.
The causes of paranoia are complex. Past traumatic life events can definitely trigger it. Other causes include:
- Stressful life events: losing a job, losing a loved one, breaking up a relationship, moving to a new city
- Anxiety/Depression
- Lack of sleep
- Childhood trauma
- Certain drugs and alcohol
Yes, antidepressants are f up read the side effects, they name everything in the world. Stupid or uneducated people look past the side effect of you may have depression as a side effect, or suicidal thoughts, or 3 out of 5 people taking antidepressants may still have depression etc. It's like what the f.,k are you taking. Dr. love to prescribe them for any symptom you tell them here try this fluoxotin etc. for a runny nose try this. The Dr's make huge amounts of money on prescribing that shlt. Most MD's treat everything with a drug now days. It's a joke. And yes for your paranoia it's a side effect, along with a list longer then Bobby Browns police report. Stay away from them I have never taken them I just see friends who don't get better until they stay busy with work or kids or counseling. I recommend just talking to a family member or friend or even a counselor to help. It helped me with anxiety another form of paranoia. Don't start Xanex, clonipem for paranoia or you'll have worse nightmares when you become addicted like everybody that ever has taken them. I know xanex withdrawal's and addiction will totally screw your mind for good. Sorry about the ramble but stop antid's if you are or don't start if your thinking about it. Find drug free way first. people crave drugs, i think because either because of peer presure, or stress drugs aren't the awnser because they will make you even more ill than you were before. people crave drugs: i think this because people who have problems such as ; stress , family problems or being bullied they would use a drug to help them to feel relaxed because they would be under a lot of pressure and if the person is that kind of a shy type they would have some drugs because drugs make you feel confident.
Certain illicit drugs can make a person feel invincible.
