The Bahamas has a "tropical maritime" or "tropical marine" climate.

In Summer, humidity in the Bahamas is high, while temperatures range from 27 to 32°C. In winter, there is less humidity and temperatures range between 21-27°C. Night-time temperatures tend to be 5-7 degrees cooler. Temperatures on the northern islands are usually about 5 degrees cooler than those on the southern islands. Sea surface temperatures range between 23°C in February and 29°C in August.

The rainy season for the Bahamas extends from May to November, when there can be a mild chance of hurricanes. Apart from that, trade winds blow almost continually through the year, making conditions mild and pleasant.
