In my opinion I think blue or green dye would dye a flower faster because it is much darker and makes the flower color it faster. This experiment was not yet tested to figure the correct answer by me.
blue

Most of the primary colors not any dark one(s).
it only absorbs it on aWednesdayand on that day it takes 20hours
If you did not cut the stems properly, they will not absorb the water. Make sure to do a fresh cut under running water. Make sure to angle the cut.
Actually, if you put a white carnation in food coloring, the carnations will turn that color. Example: Put a white carnation in red food coloring. In a few weeks, the flower will turn red.
In the flower shop, we would place freshly cut whiteflowers like carnations into a mixture of food coloring and water for several hours. It would be drawn up to the flowers and make them a color
because of the wide stem
Any flower that is white will absorb the color you choose. You see that often with carnations. They are dyed blue alot. I have found nothing on-line that shows this. I did see one reference where a virus was injected into the bulb to change the flower color but on the second year flowering it reverted back to the original color. You can however dye some white cut flowers by putting into colored water. The dye is absorbed through the stem and into the flower.
It depends on how much food coloring you are trying to absorb, and how big the celery is. If you have a small stick of celery and a lot of food coloring, it will most likely take about a week or so for the celery to completely absorb the food coloring. When the color of the water and the color of the celery switch places, it is fully absorbed. I will be doing this experiment myself to see how long in days, minutes, and seconds it takes, but if you have any more questions, try it!
they will turn blue
Absorb their food.

Yes. But this occurs because salt is soluble in water, in which the coloring is dissolved. The color is retained by the salt crystals when they dry.
