Check the fuse/relay. If good, then I'd say your blower went out. Be sure to check all wiring connections first though. Huge waste if all that might be wrong is a loose wiring harness or ground connection, or even a broken wire.

Maybe cable is going bad and will have to be replaced

Check the brake light bulbs, one of them may not be installed correctly.
