What country is the most powerful?
The United States of America is the world super power having the highest advanced military in the World. It has the biggest economy in the world, next to China, then Japan.
the most powerful country in 1900 was Britain in 1941/42 is was Germany during the cold war it was a competition between the soviet union and the united states and cur…rently it is the united states in the future japan could be the most powerful economically china the most powerful military wise as America is getting weaker than it once was (in massive amounts of debt, low education standars, terrible healthcare system ect) . As of 2010, the country that is most dominant culturally, militarily, and economically is the United States of America. The cultural influence of America eclipses that even of Ancient Rome, in that virtually all countries import or imitate significant American cultural aspects, from forms of government, to institutional design, to economic planning, to (perhaps the best known) media. Incorporation of American English into local languages also far eclipses any other language's influence. Perhaps the biggest indicator of the pervasive cultural influence of America is the very vocal and (in many places) organized resistance to American culture, the stridency of which is generally proportional to the amount of influence. Militarily, the conventional forces of the United States far outweigh those of any other current nation. The combination of size, funding, technically advanced equipment, and institutional design have provided the US with a conventional armed force more dominant that perhaps any other since at least the Mongol Empire. However, this dominance is significantly degraded by the increasing proliferation of nuclear (and other mass-destruction) weaponry, and even by the movement away from conventional warfare to asymmetric and nontraditional warfare (guerrilla and cyber/economic warfare). Economically, the United States still is the largest world economy, and possesses a top-10 per-capita income. It retains two of the top-5 financial centers of the world, and is both the largest importer and exporter of goods and services in the world. However, this dominance has significantly declined over the past 20 years; due to both domestic problems, and world-wide growth and re-alignment, the United States will likely very soon lose its status as the dominant economy. However, the likelihood is that no country will gain dominance as the US falls - instead, global trading blocks and associations look to be the dominant economic forces, rather than single nations.
There were two countries which were considered to be the mostpowerful in the world in 1968. These countries included the SovietUnion and the United States.
In the year 1939, the United States is at the top ofÃthe list asmost powerful country. United States isÃfollowed by Great Britainand Germany.
The offical answer, by looking at different areas, not by saying that 'my country is the most powerful' or is most powerful after Russia, the U.S and China', show that there i…s more than one answer. In a list, it would come out as: 1) Germany and The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northen Ireland* 2) France 3) Spain This is because of the fact of the size and rates of Economies and Military power in these countires. The reasons for a tie for First place is: Germany has a huge economy and a very decent Military, with the U.K having one of the best skilled, most experienced and well trained Military with a large economy; Although France does have a larger budget for it's military forces, the U.K does have a better Miltary and more assembled Navy. The United Kingdom and Germany also do have very large influences Politically and with culture, for example the British Royal Family. They both are importaint members of the European Union too. In comparison to some other countries, the sort of their export is more influential and have much more global power. France got Second place becuase of it's stable enough economy and it having a large Military. It's influence in the European Union is strong and it exports it's cultural traditions. Spain got Third Place as it has a large economy, although it is depending on Tourisim. As well as this it has a decent Military and exports food and holiday items which are both in demand. I hope this helped you. * Russia was not counted as it is a more Asian nation, although probably would be joint in First or Second place as it has a strong economy and Military, with heavy influence in Asia.
The United States
The most powerful ancient country ever is Iran! For thousand of years, Iran had been able to have a stable empire from very west to the east of the world. And It is still call…ed with that ancient name which makes it the oldest established country! I would have to say Greece. When Alexander the great conquered Europe Greece was the biggest country and had the most powerful army in the world The Roman Empire because it built modern Europe.
The US of A. Russia, China, and India are still up there, too.
I believe that right now the United States has the most power because of our strong government, belief in our people, and strong, courageous military.
either Russia or America.
The U.S. has the largest military in the world and it is the wealthiest.------------ Depending on the criteria you use it could be USA, China, or Russia. According to the C…omposite Index of National Capability, China is the most powerful country in the world as of this year. This is calculated using the following equation: Is taken as a ratio of the country to the world. The following rations are added together and divided by 6 to get the average ratio. TPR = total population of country ratio UPR = urban population of country ratio ISPR = iron and steel production of country ratio ECR = primary energy consumption ratio MER = military expenditure ratio MPR = military personnel ratio However, China's massive population aids them in overtaking the U.S with a larger total population, urban population, and military personnel. Also the U.S does not produce as much iron and steel as it used to, it imports. USA wins in the military expenditure, primary energy consumption areas.
The U.S. is probably the most influential country at the moment.
1. U.S.A. . 2 . China . 3 . Russia . 4 . India . 5 . U.K. . 6 . France . 7 . Germany . 8 . Brazil . 9 . Japan . 10 . Turkey . 11 . Italy . 12 …. isreal . 13 . Mexico . 14 . Indonesia . 15 . Pakistan . 16 . Taiwan . 17 . Egypt . 18 . Iran . 19 . Venezuela . 20 . North Korea . 21 . Sweden . 22 . Greece . 23 . Canada . 24 . Saudi Arabia . 25 . Ukraine . 26 . Australia . 27 . Spain . 28 . Rank 1-10 Observations: The United States (GFP formula value of 0.184) remains the undisputed leader of our list thanks to their staying "active" in global hotspots, showcasing the world's largest navy and continuing to poor in gobs of money into defense. Our formula sees China edge out Russia but only by the slimmest of margins (0.238 versus 0.241 respectively) with an edge in available manpower and financial capital. France (0.636) and Germany (0.672) are relative equals for the most part but the GFP formula gives a slight edge to France thanks to an aircraft carrier and capable navy as well as a bump in defense spending. Brazil (0.756) is the most powerful South American country on the list thanks to available manpower and a capable navy. Japan (0.920) is a "sleeper" power that sneaks into the top ten with a good navy, strong logistical infrastructure and capital. Rank 11-20 Observations: Our formula provides for a good disparity between North and South Korea, placing South well-ahead of the North thanks to better infrastructure and capital. Mexico's placement this high on the list is interesting to note - it scored a good balance across the board in all major categories. Israel finally gets a proper placement on this year's list - just out of the top ten - sporting a strong land army with equally strong training, modern equipment and recent combat experience. Rank 21-30 Observations: No surprises here. A basic collection of modern armies of generally equal strengths.

The USA is one. The other would have to be China. China is strong economically and militarily.

Powerful is a matter of opinion. The term missile, does not related to the warhead, so potentially the US still has the Saturn V rocket which would be the most powerful missil…e/rocket.

The European Union is the second most powerful entity in the world after the US. Although not technically a country, the EU holds the potential to be a superpower and is even …more powerful than China. The EU is expected to fuse as one country someday and its also not expected to be surpassed as the second most powerful country.

How does one measure a King's power in these days of democracy. If it is a measure of what a king can do in his country without fear of open dissent among his subjects, then I… would suggest the two most powerful Kings are King Mohammed Vl of Morocco and Sultan Qaboos of Oman.
