The United States The US is still the world's biggest innovating country. Not only does the US have the best facilities and universities but it is home to the people… who are currently leading in science and technology. This is actually wrong. Around 2011, a group of researchers developed a Global Technology index; a group of measurements that would acurately portray the world's leading country in technology, and it showed that the US actually ranked third in the world. Finland took first place, and Japan took second place. Sooo, it's safe to say that we are amoung the top three, but we are not THE leading country.

Oil is the world's most significant and important trade good and is expensive as well. Oil is traded in a world market with respect to global prices. There are many big …competitors or rivalries present in the marker and only 10 companies control 68 percent of the world's oil reserves. Following are the 10 oil producing companies: • Russia • Saudi Arabia. • United States. • Iran. • China. • Mexico. • Norway. • Canada. • United Arab Emirates. • Nigeria. Recent research shows that Russia is presently extorting more oil as compare to Saudi Arabia. That makes Russia the leading producer of black gold in the world. Since 2002 Russian corporations have beat the Saudis, on an on-and-off basis, as world's biggest oil producers. In June 2007 Russia pulled out 9.236 million oil barrels which is 46,000 barrels extra than Saudi Arabia. Usually Saudi Arabia is considered to be the world's largest key supply of oil and then comes Russia. The United States of America. Despite the educational problems that the US faces, it is still the number one innovating country with the world's best universities, facilitie…s, schools etc. But most importantly, it is thanks to the fact that the US is home to the world's finest scientists, engineers etc. that make it superior. Plus, the country continues to encourage and attract people with brains to come work and reside in the US which results in the brain drain in other countries.
which country has the highest gold reserve you can find the U.S. world statistics at the USGS. Bigest country producer : * south africa * USA * China *… Peru * ... I would say that the countries who lead gold are USA, South Africa for there reserves and also because the bigest mining companies are located there (Rio Tinto is from the UK...). The mining companies have a major role as they hold the supply side... and this way control the prices. They can short term reduce or increase production and long term through investment in explotation and exploration.
