Mormons (members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) believe that Jesus Christ restored the true New Testament Christian Church through Joseph Smith. Without Joseph Smith, there would have never been a such thing as Mormons.

∙ 14y agoMormonism is NOT a cult, first of all, its a religion which it has every right to be (aka the Constitution- Google that) and Joseph Smith was forteen when Jesus Christ and the Heavenly Father appeared to him so seeing as he was FOURTEEN not much, I guess. Maybe you should go to LDS.org and find out more for yourself. It'll change your life.

∙ 11y agoJoseph Smith did many things for a living over the course of his lifetime. As a young man he worked as a hired farm hand and sold products from his family's farm. Later when he was married he operated a bank, a store, and a farm.
